This course is designed for serious students of the Qur’an (ages 14+), including those who have memorized portions of the Qur’an or are engaged in its study and instruction.
Who Should Study Al-Muqaddimah al-Jazarīyya?
- Students who have memorized part or all of the Qur’an and want to refine their Tajwīd
- Teachers or aspiring instructors seeking a solid foundation in Tajwīd theory and practice
- Students of Qur’anic studies who wish to understand the rules governing accurate recitation
- Advanced reciters aiming to perfect articulation (makhārij) and characteristics (ṣifāt) of letters
- Ability to read the Qur’an fluently in Arabic script
- Familiarity with basic Tajwīd rules (e.g. ikhfa’, idghām, madd, qalqalah)
- Age 14 or older and a sincere commitment to learning
